The study of the dynamics of the curvature of the circle generates a tap with soft, elegant lines with a body emerging in a new personal way.
The lever seems to soar forward as a natural invitation to use and radiates its strength like a steel sheet.
The spout is slender, generated by two different arcs intersecting with minimal edges, and ends with an innovative soft, semi-elliptical radius.
FOIL design Marco Pisati - Winner of the 2021 Archiproducts Design Awards, with a special mention for sustainability.
"FOIL is a fluid lamina stretched into air, inspired by the sleek and elegant lines of the 1930s Streamline".
Marco Pisati
A designer fascinated by new materials and new technologies, he has experimented with his ideas in the most extreme sectors: from the aerospace one, designing the interiors of zero gravity aerospace living modules for the Italian Space Agency (ASI), to the ”nomadic” terrestrial sector, creating the first example of an interactive nomadic office (ACI motorhome). Invited to exhibit his work at the Leopolda in Florence (”Deep Inside” - Image), he presented the prototype of an astronaut jacket in Diaplex (shape memory fabric) with Grado Zero Espace, a leading company in the aerospace textile sector.
