In the heart of the Brera Design District in Milan, CRISTINA rubinetterie opened the doors of its new showroom. Strongly desired by Alberto Cristina and designed by arch. Naomi Hasuike of the Studio Makio Hasuike & Co. the space replicates exactly the company's DNA, well-known brand of the made in Italy taps industry.
A brand that has its roots in tradition and, at the same time, continues to invest in the technological and aesthetical evolution of its products.
"I imagined an open, transparent and welcoming space that may reproduce the warm and generous attitude of the company. The colours, the materials, the lights and the space sequence have been designed formthe comfort of the guests and to enhance the features of this showcase without limiting transformation during the time. So the main challenge was perhaps to create a unique and recognizable ambiance, but not expressed with exasperation. A space almost domestic but functionally extremely rich, flexible and dynamic.
Today, with the showroom done, I think these two design souls can live together coherently and I believe they can offer all the potential to consolidate this space over the time as the ideal meeting place to think, share and design ".

The ground floor is meant as a living room with a studied selection of up-to-date products, displayed on stoneware embossed walls in an environment dominated by neutral tones and by the presence of natural wood. In the middle of this space, as in a modern game of screens, oak strips will alternate with backlit led slats to create a kind of "room in the room". An iron staircase, designed with a clear industrial footprint, leads to the basement where an elegant laboratory, in perfect stylistic continuity with the top floor, is designed to develop tailor made solutions for customers and provide assistance to professionals. All our ranges are exhibited here, together with the unique showerheads, the impactfull shower columns and the stainless steel taps dedicated to the bathroom and kitchen.
The materials used, such as wood and stoneware, the natural colours and the large tables, create continuity with the upper floor. Some "mobile" elements of furniture and a large screen will give more flexibility to this space, creating a perfect location for holding workshops and presentations.
